Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data

Article 1.

BEST REAL ESTATE D.O.O. BEOGRAD-VRAČAR, located at Patrijarha Varnave 20, 11000 Belgrade, registration number: 20552662, VAT ID: 106193133 (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”), undertakes to guarantee the protection of users’ personal data in accordance with applicable legal regulations.

The Controller guarantees the privacy protection of users of real estate mediation services, as well as all users of the internet platform available at the address bestrealestate.rs (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).

The Controller is not responsible for privacy violations committed by third parties via the Internet. Any infringement of privacy rights will be reported to the competent authorities.

Article 2.

The Controller processes only the necessary data of those individuals who have given explicit consent for processing, in accordance with a clearly defined purpose. Processing is carried out in accordance with the law, and after the purpose of processing is fulfilled, the data will no longer be available or processed.

The data being processed must be accurate, up-to-date, and based on reliable sources.

Article 3.

Before collecting data, the Controller informs the individual to whom the data pertains of the following:

• Purpose of data processing: To enable the uninterrupted functioning of the Service, ensure user safety, and provide mediation in the sale and rental of real estate.
• Access to data is granted to employees of the Controller, collaborators, and competent authorities based on legal grounds.
• Providing personal data is voluntary but mandatory for fulfilling legal obligations under laws regarding obligations, mediation, prevention of money laundering, and electronic commerce.
• The user has the right to withdraw consent at any time, after which the processing of data will cease.

The data collected includes name, surname, address, phone number, email address, and IP address. For mediation purposes, personal data such as ID card number or passport number are also collected.

Article 4.

The Controller is not responsible for the accuracy of the data provided by users or third parties.

Article 5.

The Controller respects the privacy of users and does not disclose data to third parties, except for the purposes stated in this regulation and when required by law.

Article 6.

The Controller may collect data on visits to the Service to improve the service and customize content for users.

Article 7.

The user is responsible for the security of their computer network when accessing the Service.
